Our VET Dance courses are delivered online through weekly Zoom classes, digital learning platforms, and studio-based practical components.
Some short courses like Child Safe and First Aid are self-paced and/or blended.

Enrolments usually open mid-year for the following school year. Weβll announce it via email, so make sure you're on our list!

Yes! All our courses are delivered online, so students from anywhere in Australia can join β as long as theyβre enrolled at a dance studio for their practical components.

Yes! Once all assessments and requirements are completed and deemed competent, students receive a Nationally Recognised certificate for their qualification.

Yes β all our qualifications are nationally recognised and compliant with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

No, we work with many students in our ELEVATE program whose studios are not partners. We will need some input from your studio to facilitate and sign off your log book, however we provide you with a letter for your studio so they are aware of the requirements in order to help you with your study. We are also more than happy to talk it through with your Studio so they are comfortable.

You can complete the theory components of your course online and complete your practical components wherever you are currently dancing (school or studio). Our DANCEAID zoom option allows for a 'completely online' course experience and our CHCSS00146 Working in a Child Safe Environment Skill Set is delivered completely online and self-paced.

Without any dance experience it will be challenging to complete a course, but chat to our team and we will discuss your individual needs. Nothing is impossible!

No you don't, but we recommend at least 3 years of dance experience before undertaking a course at the Certificate III level.

You will need to have some understanding of dance and have some dance experience to be able to learn and contextualise the theory of the course. We recommend having dance experience before completing this course but contact us to discuss your relevant experience.

If you are interested in performing, the Dance qualification will be more relevant to you, however if you are thinking about assisting with teaching a class or are considering a career as a dance teacher then the Assistant Dance Teaching qualification will be the best fit.

In some cases, you may be eligible for credit transfers for any relevant units if you have previously completed qualifications (e.g., First Aid).
To meet RPL requirements you need to meet very specific criteria so please give us a call or email and we will work through what is possible.

In order to meet compliance requirements, students can only complete courses within their age range.

Our ELEVATE course theory is delivered via weekly zoom classes and the practical elements are completed within students' home studios or schools. Our CHCSS00146 Working in a child safe environment is delivered completely online via a video and self-paced format and DANCEAID has both in person and zoom options.

Contact our team and we will send you a deposit-free enrolment form. Then your school can pay the deposit directly and you can still proceed with signing up for your course.

We offer two types of Partnerships for Studios and Schools, check out our website here for more information about our ELEVATE and AMPLIFY partnerships.

To meet compliance requirements, you are more than welcome to let your students know that you are considering a partnership and gather your interest levels, however you can't say that you are offering the courses until you are officially signed up. If you have questions please give us a call or send us an email.

It is recommended that you complete the course work in the allocated course times, however there can be self-pace options for some courses. Contact our team to discuss if your unique circumstances will allow you to self-pace.

Our courses are designed to be flexible and compatible with student's school workloads. Courses at the Certificate III or IV level are manageable alongside Year 11 or 12 studies with good time management. Speak to our team or your school VET Coordinator if you would like to discuss your individual circumstances.

To deliver and assess course content you will need to have your TAE40116 or above (or equivalent), however there are things you can do while studying so please speak to our team to discuss your individual circumstances. We are here to support you so there may be a way to help!

We will deliver all course content and set students up for success when it comes to the practical components of this course but each student is responsible for completing their required dance hours, arranging their own studio or school space, and their own teaching opportunities within their studio environment.

We offer payment plans for all of our ELEVATE courses, this will be arranged with you upon enrolment. For all other courses payment plans may be available for unique circumstances - please contact our team to discuss prior to enrolment.

Your $500 deposit is non-refundable, however we will work with you to determine how much of the course has been completed and how much has been paid for, we will do our best to offer a refund for the remaining content.

The course cost does not change depending on how you will be paying.

Our courses are not Government funded, but you might be eligible for a Government Allowance while you are studying depending on your unique circumstances. Contact Centrelink for more information. We will also provide you a Proof of Enrolment or Proof of Study document where required.

Speak to your school VET coordinator to confirm how many points you may receive after completing a Qualification. We will do all the administration from our end to upload your certificate into your school portal so it is recognised provided you are deemed competent and we have all necessary information from you.

You must submit a form of photo ID such as a driver's licence, passport or student ID card. If you do not have any of these, a birth certificate or Medicare card will suffice. A selfie or headshot is not an approved form of ID.
