Empowerdance was established in 2010 by Gabrielle Robinson, a dancer, teacher, studio owner and dance industry trailblazer with over 30 years of experience in the studio.

Wanting to empower her students with higher education and qualifications and finding a gap in the market, Gabrielle took Empowerdance through the long and complex process of becoming a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) allowing her to create assessments that she knew her students would love engaging in.

After 10 years of watching our own students thrive and benefit from gaining industry relevant qualifications, the Empowerdance team recognised the need for our fun, engaging and Nationally Recognised courses in the wider dance and movement industries and our Partnerships program was launched in 2017. 

Working proudly alongside studios and schools across Australia, our partners understand the importance of qualifications to the future of the dance industry and the impact they can have on their students’ future careers.

We understand that studio owners and school teachers are time-poor and we have designed our courses to make them easy to deliver and engaging for your students. We have built our team to support you and your business, with trainers and assessors, marketing experts, business strategists and of course dance teachers to help at every step!
